finding consistency in a chaotic time

Making these squiggle drawings has consumed me for the past two weeks. The movement is consistent (up, down, over and around), but the color, texture and paper size can change. There is something so soothing about doing the same thing over and over again. I’ve listed some of these sketches in my shop for purchase. They come in assorted sizes on reused paper!

STUDIO REMINDERS:

• embrace constraints, it’s a gift to not have infinite choices

• no one promised you it would be easy

• work in series

• keep one thing the same

• it’s not always about you
