Land of Milk and Honey absolutely rocked me last week. I loved How Much of These Hills Are Gold (C Pam Zhang’s first book) as well. They’re very different, you could read them back to back and feel only expanded. Thanks for sharing photos of warm and sunny Addis Ababa with us in the snowland- you know I’m seeing quilts in that wall!!

I know they really were tile quilts. I need to find out the creator.
